Thank you so much for letting us use your beautiful lake house.  The view was great and the food was fantastic!  The almond chicken casserole was my personal favorite:) The kitchen, sunroom and bedrooms were all very pretty.  I especially enjoyed the master bedroom with the log bed, which was so comfortable.  Please make sure to tell Laurie's husband thanks for getting the Michigan game on for us.  We were back in time to watch the whole 2nd half--what a great finish-- GO BLUE

This lake home retreat was wonderful.  The rooms were nice and food was great (I must of ate 1/2 of the lemon dessert)! Looking out at the lake and the sunsets was so calming and beautiful!  We will definately be back.

This lake home was wonderful.  Everything from start to finish was great.  It was so relaxing to just watch and listen to the lake.  Slept well, ate well - food was great.  Had to fight Cathy for the lemon dessert!  Found you on the internet.  We will definately be back for another fun filled and relaxing weekend away.

We enjoyed the weekend.  It was relaxing watching movies while we had a view of the lake.  The food was great.  The place was very comfy & felt like home.  We hope to come back in the fall.

This place Rocks!!
We had a great time~ got lots of pages done and watched 11 movies while we scrapbooked.  The food was awesome~can't wait to do it again!

A beautiful, snowy weekend.  We were very comfy & cozy in this wonderful retreat house.  The food was a real treat!  Baked French Toast was one of my favorites.  We hope to be back.  Thanks! Sue

Hi Julie and Laurie,

    I wanted to thank you for the most relaxing weekend I've had in a long time!  Your lakehouse was the perfect scrapbooking weekend getaway.  I was able to get so much done on my son's baby book and I even had time to make my daughter's birthday invitation.  Your house had such a "homey" feeling and we felt so comfortable and right at home.  I felt like I was in my own home and in my own bed!  The view of Baldwin Lake is spectacular and it was gorgeous to scrapbook and watch the sunset.  The area is so calm and peaceful - nice getaway from our busy city life!  We didn't even turn on the TV until 9:00 pm on Saturday night!  Thank you for thinking of the "little" things such as the chocolates in each room, each bed with individual towels wrapped in raffia, the fruit tray, the chick flicks - even the books!  
    
    We loved the fact that you had the cricut there for our personal use and the cartridges!  We had one of our girlfriends come up with us who does not scrapbook at all but came just to get away for the weekend and hang with the girls.  She was so inspired that by Saturday night she had mad 18 greeting cards!
    
    The crop room was awesome!  There was PLENTY of space for each of us to completely spread out and put out all our supplies and working materials.  The lighting in there was great - didn't need anymore - esp. with the natural sunlight from the bay window!  We also went into town and went to Pages In Time.  We ended up spending 3 hours there!!!!  It was the best scrapbooking store ever!!!  
    
    And lastly, the food was unbelievable!!!  Laurie is an awesome cook and we ate everything she made for us.  We loved everything so much that we would love to get the recipes from her if she's willing to share.  We were so full from everything that we didn't even get to finish all the dessert you provided!  
    
    You gals thought of everything - it was the best weekend I've had in a long time!!!   Before we even left, we were already  planning our scrapbooking weekend for next year at your lakehouse!  We are going to make this an annual girls weekend!!!
    
    Thanks for making this such a relaxing weekend for me.  This was my first weekend away since we had kids (18 months) and it was the best weekend ever.  Caught up on my sleep,  made huge progress on my son's baby book, made my daughter's bday invitation, relaxed by the lake, and ate like a queen!  What more can I ask for???
